Hi guys

I hope you are fine.

(Considering this blog could be the end) Today I will talk about English Language like a challenge for me.

Although I like this subject, English in the university has been a true challenge (for me). First, all was right because I pass English 1 without any problem, only I answer diagnostic test and I approve this subject. Then, I should to take English 2. It was difficult, but I can to pass. With English 3 was the same, something more difficult, or less easy and I passed it. Finally, English 4 has been really a challenge with the listening and speaking.

Well, blogs can help us to practice “Reading”. But, the part really I would like to improve, it is the “Listening” part and “Speaking” part, basically, because these aspects are very important in the communication of people. If I could to do a journey, maybe to North America probably I wouldn’t talk too much, because I need a good time for talk and a long time with adequate sense and build a good sentence.

Outside the English class I talk very little. Mainly, in my house it is not a custom to talk in a different language. Each one can express like each one wants to do it. We (my family) express us better in Spanish language. I do not use with often, weekly one or two hours, for English class or sometimes I use English playing with some friends.

Year 2014

Hi guys

Today, I will talk about positive and negative aspects of my year and how has been, for approaching year 2014.

This year correspond to my second year of my career. First semester, thanks of God, I pass all my respective subjects, ja ja ok, perhaps I helped to pass each course studying and going to class every day.

Now, in second semester, It is more complicated because I ‘m not study like after and I ‘m more lazy and tired.

There are some positive and negative aspects in a part of year 2014, because it is not still finished. Some positive aspects are: I pass several of my subjects, also I back to scout and I am still going to practice 2 with my generation of career.

Some negative aspects can be I have lost persons; those have gone of career or to study in another city.  

In general, It has been a good year, because everything is fine, I am trying study more, because I hope to have goods marks when the second semester ends. Also I back to scout, that makes me get better energy and it helps to alleviate the stress (something very common in the people city). Actually, I would like to have better mark in my subjects and I hope to study so much. I am still have time to achieve it.

Hi, guys.

Today I will talk about a virtual and social network and the young use it every time we can do. I am talk about the network "Facebook".

Last 10 or 5 years, Facebook (www.faceboook.com) began to be used for the people with more frequency.

Well, I am member of this web page since 2008, but I began to use it often, since 2011, because I hadn't internet in my house until that moment.

Now, when I have a free time, I see facebook from my telephone or, then turn on my computer, I open the link of facebook and connect me with my virtual friends. They normally are friends of the real life or acquaintances, persons actually aren't your friend.

The kind relation with facebook, basically it is friendly, because I use this network for talking with my friends and that special boy. Also I use to communicate different information or to perform important conversations with my classmates.

There are many aspects about the network Facebook. Like some positive aspects are easier communication with people in other place in the world, also it is fun, because you could play the facebook's games. The other hand, some negative aspects are the few emotion of conversation, a chat online miss all feelings that could have a real conversation, also the persons are staying alone , without any company (real and not virtual).

Hi, guys

I hope you are fine and you are taken a good week... 

Well, today I will talk about Take care of Environment. Meanly, this through friendly practices with environment, like recycling.

Recycling, It defined like action of reuse and reduce, his purpose is decrease ambient contamination, called pollution. Normally, the recycling allows improve environmental conditions.

How many persons can learn to recycle? First, they must learn to recycling, using different useful ways to work it. Then you are ready to work in anything.

Sadly, I never had an instrument or way to recycle in my house. I don't know why, but definitely I am respect the container for recycling.

I don't use bike and my legs, because I'm a driver and I hope come to university in car.

The number of organizations increase with time, many important organizations take care urban places or green areas, like Green peace among others.

I am not part of some organization, because I hadn’t time or I hadn’t energy or spirit for doing.

But, in the street or in the park, I’m very cautious with my rubbish and I am throwing away in the garbage.

I think Santiago, like urban area, need it more points of recycling, because everybody in the city missed green areas with time. It would be troubling for each person and we all should be taking care about.

Genetic’s things

Hi people :)

Today I will talk about genetic; the purpose is telling you all knowledge can stay in my head about this theme.

First, “Genetic” is defined like the scientific study about physical expression of gen heritable. Then, “gen” is defined like a group of segments of ADN, It’s contains information of an organism and this information allows expression of a specific characteristic.

The Genetic can be very useful for a good management of forests or crops ends better than crops without genetic alteration. Using genetic manipulation, starting of an individual (or two), the purpose is change some character of an organism (same specie), or to keep a good characteristic of an organism, through an alteration in the genetic information of first individual, finally the change will see in next generation.

Well, genetic manipulation needs many studies before to do experiment in some organism. Too, the consequence depends to the way of application experiment. For example, if apply some radioactive in an organism, probably can be harmful for him.

I think to work with genetic can be fun and actually It´s very useful in my career, mainly in management of forests. Just I will need to study so much about different ways to alter genetic information in an individual, for the purpose of “improve” the specie.

My future job

Hi guys, 

Today, I will talk about my future job, or better said ... I will talk about what I think I will work in the future... Obviously, I want have a job, where I can be a complete Forestry engineer. Maybe, I could go to south Chilean for working in management of one or more Pine’s plantation (s) and I will work for a important industry of wood, like sawmill or some plywood company.

As well as, I am interesting in green areas in the city and how much importance are these to the community, especially, for each person, how it affects to emotional condition? A place without a tree, or plant, it is an empty place, without life.   ... Main I like to work in Santiago city, because I think we all should be taking care about the importance of green areas.

I do not care to work outdoors or indoors, because I could work in an office and I make reports or something that, it would be cool. And I could work in the forest, too, like many classmates would want, but I could take information using different measurements to measure different parameters for each tree, like DAP, or height, etc.

I am interested in to continue studying then to get my career, perhaps something different or something about management to green areas.

Hi

In this post I will talk about animals, basically domestic animals.

When I refer to "domestic animals", It's not just dogs, birds and cats but llama and guanaco, too. 

I refer to many animals, in general mammals, birds and fish. 

The domestic animals are  an invention of human, for their comfort and themselves survive. It is live with people and It was domesticated.

Domestication defines like process of selection, then a interaction person-animal, with the objective to getting some benefit for themselves. The first animal domesticated was a dog, It was since 15.000 years old. 

I like some animals, because some animals scaring me, like cats with their great claws and sharp fangs, and some animals I like them, like dog, they are so cute and beautifully unique.

I like dogs, but not all.  I have two little dogs in my home. She is Emily, and he is Pelucón.. well, newly they are not smaller, even I could say they are bigger and fatter than before. Both dogs are “cocker inglés”, their hair is black, Pelucón have a little bit of white hair. She is 3 years old, and he is 1.

I think my favourite animal is cow… I choose because… maybe her black spot, that is different in each cow.

The best concert :3

Hi!!

I will talk about the best concert that I was ... (e.e) Well. Really, It is a music's festival, called "FIIS", and that is means, "Festival of Innovation and Entertainment". It was in Movistar Arena, in Santiago. During five days, from Wednesday 23rd to Sunday 27th of October to 2013.

However, I was that one sunday to Movistar Arena. I saw different music's artists and music's groups, with theimselves original styles . I tell the truth, It was a show with many musical variety.

I was to see to GEPE------------------------------------> 

GEPE, It is name of a chilean band of music, composed for Daniel Riveros (singer and drumer) and two choristers. This band had a interesting music's style. Their musical style is alternative, that including rock, acustic pop and influence of Andean music. In the concert, couldn't miss the best songs like "Fruta y Té", "En la Naturaleza(4-3-2-1-0)" or "Bacán tu casa".

Everything in the places was perfect... 

I was stay there with my favourite company, my sister, and we were having fun.

Then, when we go, we can't see the finish show, because was too late. And my sister must to leave to Valparaiso.

Permaculture?? ._.

Hi!!

Well, today I talk about "Permaculture", because I didn't know what it is mean. But with help of a Youtube's video I learn a little bit about this topic.

First, "7 Food Forests in 7 minutes with Geoff Lawton" allow to understand interaction between food and forestry, and this 2 words logically haven't got a relation without a context.

Mr. Lawton says how importance a soil conditioned in the process, refer to better conditions what soil can have it, according to presence organic matter.

The process start in a crop of Zaytuna farm with little pants with their roots has not presence to organic matter. Later, a colony fixer acts in the roots of little plants, called Rizhobium bacteria. Next day, plants grow up, given organic matter (roots) to soil.

They daily changed to establishment productive, every weekend they take next tree.

Finally they can get new soils richer with organic matter.

I think about this process is that could be apply in Chile, but in South Chilean, because I think It has many possibilities of grew up.

Hi (again) guys. Well, it’s something funny say Hi twice.

Whatever, now come to theme. Blog and Post…

The blog is an interesting way to express, saying all things that we could say. Also, help us to practice English vocabulary and use it with adequate context. In general, I don’t express me with English words or English phrases, although it’s something that I could star to use in my life.

I think about the blog, it’s a way to come to the students, because currently, the young communicate us by socials networks like Facebook or Twiter and that are different ways of expression.

Well, I haven’t many problems with explain me in English, but… perhaps, someone could have difficulty and this is easy to understand.

At least for now, I like write post and let it a comment to my classmates, because it is something that I can do, it is write with English words, vocabulary a little bit limited, but same enough understandable.

Sincerely, I couldn’t think each theme for every class or an interesting topic about it, the classmates wants to write, and they can explain. I think it is not easy.

Dreaming...

Hi guy

If I would have the chance of traveling to some country, where I want to go. I would like to visit Paris, France.

Always, I had this dream; about know Europe and I go for a walk in Paris. Well, really I want to know the urban people, see the streets, the city.  Perhaps, I can study something about French language and learn it when I am trying to talk with different persons. On the other hand, I could go to park or plaza, I will see urban green areas, and ask to French people what think about green areas in France?

Also, I would go to Eiffel Towel and eat in a opulent restaurant.

And don’t stop to take me wonderful photos, too much.

Only I am interested with travel in holiday or some way to visit France, that it’s enough for me. I like to live in Chile, it’s a beautiful country, with people not always happy, but interesting, also Chile have many different and beautiful landscape natural.

Something I like: Films!._

Hi, guys. 

Something that really, really I liked and I think it's something that we loved. It is the films.

Jaja I like the films, because carry me to different reality, or another world or simply outside the planet.

I would rather watch action films and drawing films. Particularly, I prefer the saga films and follow the epic history. I like go to cinema, cause I could go to the cinema and watch the movie at the gigantic screen.

A good actor, what interpreted every character giving life and pure soul, is Jhonny Deep.

On the other hand, I don't know many directors, but I know to Titanic' director, he is the same that Avatar's director. He is James Cameron and those films are wonderful movies. Another director is Tim Burton, he was my favorites films, like "Corpse Bride" or "Alice in Wonderland". Those films like me because had something of mistery and darkness.

Management Green Areas

 Today, I talk about how importance manage green areas to Santiago, Chile. 

Specifically, improving urban green areas. I choose this topic because I think  green areas help us to keep our conection with nature, and it's something that we all should be taking care about,

Green areas represent a space, where vegetation had domination. 
These gave many positive things to comunity  and It is important to people, because these have a social function, like quality of life to comunity,  social incorporation, phisycal activity. Also, these have a environment funtion, like capture of Carbono, biodiversity protector, improve quality of air, control urban temperature.

In Latin America, green areas are limited in big city, cause their urban growing were quickly and explosive before the twentyone century. The population in Chile was grew in 107% from 1970 to 2002. (from 6.050.436 to 12.538053 resident) (Universidad de Chile investigation)

The urban green areas are a useful stress reducer to comunity. According to Ministery of Environment of Chile, green areas,  with municipal manage, for resident in Santiago to it's 3.4 metrers squared. Though, according to OMS, the adequate availability to green areas to it's 9 metrers squared for person.

Brazil: host country of World Soccer Championship 2014

Hi, today I wanna talk about Brazil. 

Well, everybody knows how importance is this country to soccer society and soccer fans, too. Cause this year, It will do the most important event of Fifa in Brazil. 
Though some brazilians not be absolutely happy. And why?? I 'm someone that not knows what happen exactly in Brazil. 

I did watch TV, but I feel unconfident of news said, because Which am I can know true history? like if someone that not is a inhabitant of Brazil speaks that. On the other hand, I don't know a brazilian for he tell me his truth story.

I am afraid, I am not agree with government, because I can't understand what cause principal problem  or trouble between government and socity. As well as, It's not insignificant thing. It's something that they all should be care about. This country must have a nacional stability whether really wanna be host country of world championship

Hi, I would like introduce to my beautiful nephew, she is Martina, she is the son of my brother and she was born in december 9 to 2011.

In this picture, I am touching a foot of little Martinita, well, really I am touching her clothing, I remember that. My family were there, my mom, my dad, my grandmother, my sister and my brother and martina's mother, of course. When in hospital allow us to see her, the happiness went present in the faces and hearts of everybody.

Althrough the picture showed only her feet, I went so happy of stay there, cause she was my first nephew. Today, she is 2 years old, she is a happy girl that love yoghurt and chocolate chips cookies.

Well, I choose this photo because It was the first photography of her. And also I taken this photography ( together with another more) in the same day of her birthday.

Terrible Disaster in Valparadise :(

Well, last weekend a terrible event happend in Valparaiso, let it going familys, kids and pets without home and their personal things.
Also the big quantity of burning trees, really, It's a disaster environmental.

Today, different companys and organitations are trying to help to people what was affected by fire. Everybody was touched by sad new.

The fire, accordin to news, started in the hill by a poor bird what stop in a post and for things of destiny a little spark in this bird was cause first focal point.
 In my opinion, that reason is credible, but nobody could verify this situation. It`s not easy of know and still it's a dangerus zone.

The way to fire prevent is with a good plan of fire managerment. But it needs professionals interested in theme.

I hope what every person affected can get up.

The best technological object

Well, Today I must talk about technological things, and my favourite piece of technology is a computer, because it is very important for a student in the university, like me. In my opinion, this piece must be ever in my room, somehow without it ,everything, like homework, investigation or anything will be hard to do. The computer is indispensable for every student, and unimaginable out of my life.

Things what my computer can do: jaja ok, thing what I do in my computer: homework**, listen to music, talk for webcam with my sister (she study in "Valpo") and watch musical and funny videos------->

Other object important for me, is my beautiful hearing aid *-*
... because I can listen to music everywhere without cause trouble or  make to someone uncomfortable.

My Expectations

Well... Today, I must write about "expectations"

I'm doing six subjects this semester

First expectation: I hope pass all my subjects when this semester over, learning much things of them.

Maths is my favourite subject, however I think what will be different this year, something is more difficult in math class, and therefore I must be much better student.

Now, talking about something extracurricular or another activities… really my free time I like to do meet my friends or stay at home with my nephews (sons of my brother)

Sometimes I love to travel, I don't know why, but something happen when I'm moving place to place, made me very happy 

Finally the reason of my motivation is be much better student.

Inmigration

I think that it's something good,because the positive things is we know news cultures and another type of person.
But the real situation what lives this foreigners is sad :(
REALLY, we don't know specifically why they arrived in Chile.

However, I think this, but the rest of chilean maybe don't think like me.
I know that our country is prepared to receive foreigners, because Chile is a country of many laboral chances, but sometimes people is angry or arrogant, all depend of the situation .

The negative thing is what the inmigrants could work in something what someone chilean could work, choose a chilean or a foreigners, could be discriminatory for another.
